Got Questions? We've Got Answers.

Permits and compliance can get confusing fast — different rules for different states, different filings for different operations. Before you pick up the phone, take a look through some of the questions we hear most from owner-operators and fleets just like yours. Still not finding what you need?

Our team is one call away.

Turnaround varies by permit type and state, but most standard filings (USDoT, BOC-3, UCR) are processed within 1–3 business days. Oversized load permits can take longer depending on the state and route, and we’ll give you a clear timeline before you commit.

It depends on where you operate. If you only haul within a single state’s borders, intrastate authority may be enough. If you cross state lines — even occasionally — you’ll need interstate authority (ICC/MC). Not sure which applies to you? Reach out and we’ll walk through it together.

IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) covers fuel tax reporting across the states you drive in. UCR (Unified Carrier Registration) is a separate annual registration fee based on your fleet size. Most interstate carriers need both — they’re not interchangeable.

Start with your USDoT number, since almost everything else (MC Authority, IFTA, UCR) is tied to it. From there, we’ll help you figure out exactly which additional filings your operation needs based on where and what you haul.

Yes. We work with single-truck owner-operators and multi-truck fleets alike, and we can manage renewals across your whole fleet so nothing lapses or falls through the cracks.

Depending on the permit, you could face fines, a suspended operating authority, or an out-of-service order at a roadside inspection — any of which stops your trucks from earning. We track renewal dates for our clients and reach out ahead of deadlines so this doesn’t happen.
